Brainstorm Possible TpT Store Names
Do you want to use your own name as your TpT store name? Do you want to make a creative TpT store name that will reflect your brand? You can even use a combination of your actual name paired with some creative wording!

Choosing a TpT Store Name
Don’t go too niche when picking a name for your TpT Store! For example, I would not recommend using a specific grade level in your name. That corners you into creating content for only that grade level. Then, if you ever pivot or expand your resources, your TpT store name would not match your content. This would make it confusing for potential buyers.
Remember, when you choose a TpT store name it doesn’t have to rhyme, or have alliteration. A good TpT store name just has to reflect who you are or what you’re about and feel like a good fit for you!
Do some research! Once you have come up with a name or list of possible TpT store names go to the TpT website and search for that TpT store name.
- If your name is available dig a little deeper. Make sure there is not a TpT name that is very similar to the one you were thinking of.
- If a similar store name exists with only a small variation, like if the store name already exists but with or without spaces between the words, or a very very similar name – keep brainstorming and think of something else! For example: I am Coffee Fueled Classroom. Should you go and name your TpT storefront Coffee Fueled Class, or CoffeeFueledClass? Heck No! That would cause brand confusion and be very rude and disrespectful to the person who is already using that name.
- Do the right thing and search for variations and possible similarities. If the TpT store name already exists pick your next choice and start again!
Search, search, and search some more…
Once you find a name for your store on TpT, don’t enter it to your account just yet. There is a little more research you need to do. Search the name you chose for your TpT store on Google. There are lots of blogs and social media platforms out there! Search, search, and search some more. If after a google search it seems like the TpT store name you picked is not taken by a website or blog go search social media! Check Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and any other social media outlet you can think of. Again, you don’t want there to be any brand confusion once you get started, and you will want to make sure that the option of your brand name is available.
OK I Chose a TpT Store Name, Now What?
